Did another session of predominantly single-rep exercises yesterday.
Now my squat stands at 1RM of 91.5kg (though I thought I got go even heavier)

The Way of Life
I know it may be too early for me to get really philosophical, but my dad just showed me a condensed English version of Taoism's sayings, and this line really set me pondering:
" The name that can be named
Is not the changeless Name"
I interpreted it as humans only recognise things if we place a value on them.
Another part of the saying mentioned something about us recognising beauty because there is ugliness.
True.
So if everything appears the same to us, there will be no need to compare.
Learn to strike a balance then.

A breakthrough
Just did singles for deadlifts today... and....
86.5kg for 1 rep! W00h00! It's been like almost 8 months since I lifted that heavy... I mean.. it was precisely that stupid heavy rep of 90+kg that laid me off for a period of time...
But it means I am back! And it's good! :)
Anyway, the breakdown...

Moving on
It's about time that the limit is reached, and playtime's over, since there is only 2 months left to the final battle this year.
Yes, the promotional exams.
Anyway, since it is also good to have a little review on the other things in life, I might as well do a small reflection on two of my current interests.
Weightlifting.
Not been making much progress in terms of BW gained and load lifted. Tried changing the type of routine (high reps to low reps), but to no avail.
I came to a conclusion: I should probably try ultra-low reps, like 3, but do only 90% of my 1RM. From then, I would slowly increase the weight I used for the 3RM to 5RM, then to 8RM. And then I return to the 3RM.
Modelling.
Prospect's not looking good. Still cant "come out of the closet". Maybe it's because of school. I don't know.
